August 2000
Davis Indoor Sports Center, a state of the art complex, was built in Davis, Ca specifically for inline hockey. With amenities such as a pro-shop, cafe, beer and wine bar, and a full size air-conditioned hockey arena, it had become a model for many of the more recently built inline hockey facilities. (Note: We no longer have a pro-shop, cafe, or a beer and wine bar) Unfortunately, hockey could not sustain the cost of the building, and the owners of the company had to shut down.
April 2006
Local hockey parents, known as Topshelf LLC, leased the hockey rink in Davis to continue the sport. The office area, including the proshop, cafe, and bar areas, was sold to a separate non-profit organization.
April 2009
Topshelf LLC dissolved. Randy Nunes and Ian Striegler partnered to create NorCal Indoor Sports. Because of the property cost in Davis, NCIS had to be moved to Woodland.
October 2009
The new facility in Woodland opened. Although we are back to warehouse hockey, roller hockey will continue in the Sacramento area. Photos.
February 2010
Woodland Gymnastics joins our facility.
April 2010
Baseball and Softball training with Top Ten Training joins our facility. March 2011 NorCal Indoor Sports now has a proshop carrying roller hockey equipment.
